Hi, we're Kenny and Lisa Knapp. Thanks for taking a look at Shamrock Insulation!
Growing up in Connecticut, Kenny was exposed to the building industry at an early age. After a tour of duty in the Marine Corps (Semper Fi!), he ended up in Colorado Springs. He quickly took a job as an insulation installer for a large company here in town. After a few years of installing, he was moved up into a sales and estimating position. He stayed there for the next ten years. With the market turning and layoffs coming from the corporate office, we decided to go out on our own. In 2008, we opened the doors to Shamrock Insulation. This gave us the opportunity to run a company the way we thought would be best - with more focus on customer service and satisfaction and less on high profits with every job. We would much rather have you happy with our work and refer us to a friend, than leave you dissatisfied with a big check in our pocket.
We truly are a family-owned and operated company. Kenny does all of the estimates and installs. Who better to do the work than the guy who gave you the bid? There won't ever be any confusion as to what needs to be done on the day of Installation. Kenny's cousin Doug assists on all installations.
Lisa handles things behind the scenes. She has lived in Colorado Springs for 28 years. She graduated from UCCS with a degree in Geography and Environmental Studies. She has a deep passion for all things environmentally-friendly. Helping people reduce their energy use and costs with environmentally-friendly products is very important to her. Lisa keeps her office flowing smoothly, and she'll be the voice on the other end of the phone when you call us.
